- Managed entirely by Apple through the App Store

Local Storage

We do NOT upload your food inventory data to our servers or any cloud service.
Note: Cloud storage and device sync features are planned for future releases.

OCR Processing (Premium Feature)
- Purpose: Extract text from receipt images
- Processing: Done on-device using Apple's Vision framework
- Data shared: None - all processing is local
Crash Reporting (Optional)
- Purpose: Identify and fix app crashes
- Data shared: Anonymous crash logs, device type, OS version
- No personal information included

- Delete: Clear all data from Settings → Clear All Data
- Opt-out: Disable analytics in Settings
Data Deletion
To delete your data:
- Open SmartFridge
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Clear All Data"
- Confirm deletion
This will permanently delete all locally stored data on your device.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to delete personal information
- Right to opt-out of data sales (we don't sell data)

SmartFridge is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately.

Your data is stored locally on your device. All data remains on your device and is not transferred to external servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the app
- Sending an in-app notification for material changes
